In this book the Act of 1887 provides power to the State of Government to establish Courts of small causes and these can take cognizance of civil suits upto a value as specified under the Act. However, the State Government is also empowered to extend their jurisdiction. So far so, following types of cases have been excluded from the purview of such courts: Suit regarding Government Acts, Possession of immovable property etc.
